For the Ride of your Life …………….
View wildlife from another level, and ride the wilderness’ very own 4x4. These majestic creatures will take you through the bush and enable you to see game from another perspective at our very own Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve.
Morning or Afternoon Elephant Interactive Safaris – allow you the opportunity to ride, learn about and interact with these majestic creatures, on a 55 – 60 minute Elephant experience. Morning safaris include breakfast. Afternoon safaris include drinks and snacks.

All our trips include:
- Transportation from all major lodges and hotels to the Private Game Reserve, approximately 25-minutes/12km drive from Victoria Falls town centre.
- Experienced guides will accompany every safari.
- Safety talk, introductions to the Elephants and their “Induna’s” (guide).
- The opportunity to observe and learn about game, bird life, flora & fauna.
- A Continental breakfast is served on the morning safari. Refreshments and snacks are served on the afternoon safari.
- Return Transfers to town.
What “TO” bring:
- Sun block.
- Binoculars.
- Cameras.
- Personal medication.
- Glasses or sunglasses.
- Insect repellent.
- Neutral colored clothes.
- Comfortable shoes.
- Wide brimmed hats.
- Booking voucher.
What “NOT” to bring:
- Heavy backpacks.
- Passports, Jewellery and valuables should be left in hotel lockups.
Age Restriction:
- 4 years minimum.
- 18 years and below require a legal guardian to sign an indemnity form.
Booking restrictions
- Minimum of 2 passengers per trip on all Elephant Interactive Safaris
- Maximum number of 32 guests on the morning trips and 16 guests on the afternoon trip

General Info
Client Suitability - Not suitable for clients who have undergone hip surgery.
Equipment: Clients sit on a custom built saddle that has stirrups to rest your feet on and straps to hold on to. Clients will mount the Elephants from a ramp that is almost level with the back of the Elephant.
Guides - All Shearwater guides are first aid qualified. All Trip Leaders carry a rifle, communications radio and first aid kit on the trip.
Health - Clients will be asked to declare any illnesses, injuries or ailments that may affect them during the trip.
Indemnity & Insurance - Shearwater Adventures has a Public Liability Insurance cover of USD 2 million per incident, which is underwritten by Lloyds of London.
Communication - A radio is carried on every Shearwater trip, enabling the lead guide to have radio communication with the base and MARS.
Videos - Videos are taken on all Elephant Interactive Safaris and are available for viewing and purchasing at the end of the trip. |
