This trip runs as the normal Full Day rafting with an overnight stay at our riverside beach camp. This product is only available during Low Water - approximately August to January.

This trip is the same as the normal low or high water rafting trip. However, clients spend the night in the Gorge at our overnight spot between rapids 21 and 22. |
Day two
| There is no rafting on the morning of day two. The group walk out of the Gorge after breakfast at the overnight camp. Clients will be transported back to Victoria Falls where they will arrive around noon. They return via the Shearwater warehouse to collect luggage and valuables which they may have left at check in the day before. Clients can watch the video of their first day's rafting in the Shearwater office. For high water overnight trips there is rafting on the second day from rapid number 21 to rapid 24, after which you will walk out of the gorge in time to meet the transfer back to Victoria Falls. Departures
Every day throughout the low water rafting season.
Drinks
Complimentary wine, beer and gin and tonics will be supplied as well as cordials, water and minerals. Customers should arrange with the guide, at the pre-trip briefing, for any other alcoholic preferences that they may require. There will be an extra cost for speciality drinks.
Meals
On day one, clients are served the same lunch as the full day rafting trip. On arrival at the overnight camp, they are served snacks with their sundowners. Dinner consists of a braai with a good selection of meat, potatoes, salad and bread. After dessert, tea and coffee are served. Breakfast consists of toast, cereal, and a full English breakfast, tea and coffee. Please advise us in advance of any dietary requirements as we would like to fully accommodate clients requirements if possible.
Accommodation
Clients sleep in rustic thatched open-sided beach huts on foam mattresses. All bedding is provided and mosquito nets are included. There are eight huts which sleeps two clients each. Clients are also welcome to sleep on the soft sandy beach if they prefer.
Ablutions
The Shearwater Beach Camp has flush toilets and hot water bucket showers.
