Day one

As per low water rafting trip. Camping on a beach below rapid 21.

Days Two and Three

These will cover a distance of 35 kilometres, rafting through rapids, interspersed with long, calm stretches of water. There will be a portage around Lower Moemba waterfall late on the second day and a third and final portage around the proposed site of the Batoka Dam wall early on the third morning. Further on the boats may be "ghostboated" through the last major rapid depending on the water level. Camps will be made on sandy beaches.

Days four and five

These days will be spent rafting through grade 2 and 3 rapids interspersed with long stretches of calm water. As the gorge begins to widen out, clients raft through areas where birdlife is more prominent. On day five a leisurely morning will be spent rafting down to the Matetsi River mouth, this stretch of river affords clients the chance to relax in one of the most remote areas in the country, watch hippos and crocodiles and share the odd story!

After a picnic lunch clients will be transported back to Victoria Falls via the Shearwater warehouse to collect valuables, and stored luggage. Shearwater will drop clients off at their respective hotels. On day four clients cover 23km, and on day five clients cover 35km. At the end of the fifth day clients would have travelled 110 kms.
