Activities at Camp Jabulani.......

Game Drives
Game drives in an open safari vehicle offer guests the opportunity to see the Big Five and a large variety of smaller wildlife. Guests set out in the early morning and evening accompanied by highly skilled game rangers. Deeply knowledgeable about the bush and its ways, they are adept spotters and guides, and provide a fund of interesting information and anecdotes about the inhabitants of the bush.

Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre
The Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre is about 40 minutes drive from Camp Jabulani through the bush. Your stay includes a visit to the centre and the opportunity to stroke some of our precious cheetahs.

Clay pigeon shooting
Clay pigeon shooting can be arranged on request, and is a good team-building activity. There are a number of programmable clay pigeon machines, including a rabbit roller.

Bird watching
Guests get to view a large variety of birds, and our knowledgeable rangers enjoy this as much as our guests do.

Bush walks
Bush walks are arranged by the rangers. They include informative talks about the grasses, trees and wild flowers, as well as the animals.

Picnics and bush braais (barbeques)
Picnics and bush braais are very informal and highly enjoyable. These are arranged at various spots around the reserve.

Optional Extra Activities
Camp Jabulani is able to offer a number of additional activities slightly further afield, in conjunction with our various partners. These can be arranged on request. Whether excitement or relaxation is your aim, it will be our pleasure to arrange it for you.

· Nyani Tribal Village
Your host Axon Khoza conducts daily tours which introduce you to the Shangaan way of life. A traditional dinner is served in the evening.

· Traditional dancing
This can be arranged for groups on request. A group of Nana dancers come and perform at Camp Jabulani. There are about 14 to 16 dancers including little ones, who will dance their way into your heart.

· White-water rafting
Day trips can be arranged to the Blyde River. These include lunch and a whole day on the river. Professional river guides accompany all the rafting trips.

· Microlight trips
See Kapama Private Game Reserve from the air — the ultimate game-viewing experience.

· Hot-air balloon trips
Balloon trips over the Kapama Game Reserve or the scenic area around it are available.

· Helicopter flips
Take a scenic flight over the Drakensberg and enjoy a champagne picnic in the mountains.

· Golf
Trips can be arranged to two golf courses in the area: the Hans Marensky course in Phalaborwa and the Drakensig course in Hoedspruit. Wildlife can often be spotted during an early morning round on both courses.

· Panorama mountain tours
Tour guides collect guests at the lodge and depart for the mountains. The trip includes many places of interest, a light lunch in Graskop and opportunities for shopping.
